Barker humanized her characters with RAW EMOTIONS that allowed for love to catch up. I have to say her writing is EXQUISITE, FILLED WITH WARMTH and COMPASSION that covers you like a 'RAY OF SUNSHINE,' it was the PERFECT taste of reading. This was a 1st time listen from Freya Barker for me. This was a very MOVING and HEARTFELT story that through it all gave me everything and then some, that will have me singing it's praise for a longtime to come. Dump your partner and get a new one as that's apparently all you need to do - GRRRR!Įverything That I Could Have Wished For & More❣ I don't have that issue but feel it really spits in the face of women that have troubles. Chapter 34 spoiler-ish - I just don't understand why authors feel the need to include that for a HEA. BUT hated chapter 34 (the last chapter before the epilogue). While I can see why everyone hated chapter 1 I can look past it. There were 2 small mistakes in the audio - the beginning of Chapter 23 and one before that but I messed up with the bookmark to save the spot and can't remember where it is anymore - closer to the beginning. The narration was fabulous - both were mostly new to me and would love more from them, especially Charley Ongel as I really enjoyed her female voice more than a lot of the more popular female narrators. New author for me and looking forward to continuing with this series. Great story especially if you are looking for a slightly older couple.
